District Places featuring the 51 Steps to Freedom Tour
Please join us on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 8:00 am - 10:30 am for an engaging morning of historical exploration as we showcase the newly completed stops on the 51 Steps to Freedom Tour, highlighting significant locations tied to the story of freedom and civil rights in our nation’s capital.
The tour will depart from the iconic Mansion on O Street, which is located at 2020 O Street NW, Washington, DC. Participants will congregate there, enjoy refreshments and connect with fellow attendees before boarding the bus.

8:30 AM: Depart for the bus tour.
Tour Highlights: Visit 3-4 key stops with a guided narrative and insights into the significance of each location.
Break: A brief restroom stop during the tour.
10:30 AM: Return to the Mansion on O Street
